Let’s visit together one of our favourite festivals of the year - TABOOK:
“A renewed meeting of small publishers, authors, translators, editors, illustrators, graphic designers, students and book professionals in Tábor. Books from more than thirty small publishers in the streets of the city, professional lectures, meetings and the Eye to the World project in the Oskar Nedbal Theater, exhibitions, readings, concerts, walks, theaters, unknown places, unexpected meetings, courtyards, gardens, cafes, teahouses, old Carpentry, garden Shooting range... Small events of great importance! Here come the heroes. Our old and young heroes: philosophers, translators, performers, writers, poets, rebels, painters, illustrators...”

We’ll meet at Prague train station and take a train to Tabor. There we will spend a couple of hours wandering Tabor’s historic streets, visiting exhibitions, drinking coffee, buying (or just looking through) the books.
TABOOK is a great place to visit especially for those interested in working in book illustration or simply lovers of quality and creative books.
You will need to get your own train ticket. Instructions and recommendations will be sent to your email before the date. Feel free to bring a date, a friend, your family with you.
